8+ years supporting families • 140+ births attended • Certified Postpartum Doula •
I’ve spent years supporting families through pregnancy and birth, and now I’m bringing that same calm, practical support into the first weeks at home. My care is non-medical, judgment-free, and shaped around what your family actually needs.

What postpartum support can look like
Every visit is shaped around what would make your day feel lighter. I can care for the baby while you rest, prepare something to eat, wash bottles, fold laundry, reset the kitchen, help with siblings, and answer questions as you settle into life at home.
Baby Care
Holding, soothing, diaper changes, bottle-feeding, and caring for your baby while you rest, shower, or spend time with your older children.
Care for You
Simple meals and snacks, time to rest, a listening ear, and calm practical support as you recover and adjust.
Home Reset
Washing bottles and pump parts, folding laundry, light dishes, and resetting the spaces that help your home function.
This support may be right for you if…
-
You know family will help, but you want dependable support already on the calendar.
-
Your partner is returning to work and you do not want to manage the days alone.
-
You have older children who still need your time and attention.
-
You want to recover without watching bottles, laundry, and dishes pile up.
-
You would feel better knowing an experienced, calm support person is coming each week.
-
You do not need someone to take over—you need another capable adult in the house.
What 16 Hours Can Give Your Family
Sixteen hours will not make postpartum effortless. It can give you four predictable afternoons when you are not the only person keeping everything moving.
ROOM TO RECOVER
Sleep, shower, eat, or simply lie down without staying alert to every sound your baby makes.
TIME FOR THE REST OF YOUR FAMILY
Spend uninterrupted time with your older children, attend an appointment, or have a real conversation with your partner.
A MORE MANAGEABLE HOME
Start the evening with clean bottles, folded laundry, something to eat, and a kitchen that feels under control.
STEADY SUPPORT AS YOU ADJUST
Have a calm, capable person available to answer questions, talk through what is working, and help you find practical next steps.
What families can expect from me:
Calm, practical, nonjudgmental support from someone who knows how to step in without taking over.
“Mary has a calm, reassuring presence that made me feel supported without ever feeling pressured. She listened, answered my questions, and somehow knew when to step in and when to simply be there. I felt genuinely cared for and more confident because she was part of my support team.”
- Sarah, Birth Client
Why I Added Postpartum Support
Adding postpartum care felt like a natural next step in my work as a doula. I wanted to be able to support families beyond birth with the same calm, practical care I bring into the birth room.
Over the years, I’ve heard so many moms talk about how much they struggled after bringing their baby home. They needed rest, help with the baby, food, a shower, someone to tackle the dishes—or simply another adult in the house—but for so many different reasons, they never reached out and asked for help.
I wanted to help fill that gap.
I completed a 100-hour Postpartum Doula Certification through Madriella and am certified in Adult, Child & Infant CPR/AED/First Aid. I’m also trained as a Birth & Bereavement Doula through Stillbirthday, with additional education through The VBAC Link, Spinning Babies, Bundle Birth, and Evidence Based Birth®.
That training, combined with years of supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the transition into life with a new baby, gives me a strong foundation for postpartum work. I understand the importance of staying within my nonmedical role while recognizing when a family may benefit from additional professional support.
My experience as a doula and a mom of three has taught me that support doesn’t always need to be complicated. Sometimes it looks like caring for your baby while you sleep, making you lunch, washing bottles, folding laundry, spending time with an older sibling, or simply noticing what needs to be done and stepping in.
That’s why I added postpartum care: so asking for help doesn’t have to be one more thing a new mom has to figure out.

Frequently Asked Questions
WHEN ARE VISITS AVAILABLE?
Visits are generally available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00–5:00 p.m. All dates are scheduled according to availability.
WHEN CAN I USE MY FOUR VISITS?
Your four visits may be used during your baby’s first 12 weeks. We will discuss the timing that would be most helpful for your family and reserve your dates in advance whenever possible.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A VISIT?
Every visit is different. We will begin by deciding what would make that day feel most manageable—whether that is newborn care while you rest, preparing food, washing bottles, folding laundry, helping with siblings, or talking through questions.
DO YOU OFFER OVERNIGHT CARE?
No. The Postpartum Reset is designed specifically as daytime support in four-hour blocks.
DO YOU PROVIDE MEDICAL OR LACTATION CARE?
I provide practical postpartum, newborn, and feeding support within my scope as a doula. I do not replace your medical provider, pediatrician, therapist, or lactation consultant, but I can help you identify when additional support may be helpful.
CAN OLDER CHILDREN BE HOME?
Yes. Supporting the transition for the whole family is part of postpartum care. I can help make space for you to spend time with your older children, but I am not hired as their sole childcare provider.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE?
I serve families in Clarkston and surrounding communities. Contact me with your location, and I will confirm whether it falls within my service area.
DO I HAVE TO BE A BIRTH-DOULA CLIENT?
No. The Postpartum Reset is available as a stand-alone service, whether or not I supported you during pregnancy or birth. Current birth clients may also add the package to their existing support.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?
You are welcome to inquire during pregnancy. Because I accept only two postpartum families per month, booking before your baby arrives gives you the best chance of reserving support around your expected timeframe.
DO YOU PROVIDE THE FOOD AND HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES?
Simple meals and snacks are prepared from food already available in your home. Families provide their preferred groceries, bottles, laundry products, and household supplies.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
The Postpartum Reset is a private-pay service. I do not bill insurance or Medicaid.
