2021 recap!!

✨ 2021 ✨

We started this year trying to sell our house. The day before our first showing Ander was playing quietly in his room (so I thought) he came out and pointed to the bathroom. I looked and saw he had the faucet on and it was OVERFLOWING with water. The vanity was filled with water and the basement was leaking some water.

The next day Philip got gas and the nozzle didn’t click off and gas was OVERFLOWING from his tank 💸💸

I decided to say 2021 was going to be the year of overflow. And honestly, it was.

Our hearts are overflowing this year. The biggest thing is living in our absolute DREAM of a home. Every day we look at each other in disbelief that we get to live here. We’ve also been overflowing with new friends, opportunities (hello YA), growth and the list goes on.

It was a really great year and I’m super grateful for it. Thank YOU Lord for all of the blessings this year. ✨✨♥️♥️♥️♥️😭😭😭😭

Let’s see what 2022 has in store.

in my business: It’s been one for the books!

This was on my busiest year to date. I’ve gotten to work with some incredible clients and see amazing births. I got to work with many awesome nurses, OBs, and Midwives.

Here are some stats:

Births attended: 30

🏠: 16

Hospital: 13

Birth Center: 1

Miles driven: (since June):3,094

Longest time at a birth: 27 hours

Shortest time: 1.5 hour

Next year I’m tracking weights and lengths.

I learned so much from each one. I saw some WILD things. I met some incredible people along the way. Thank you to each family who asked me on their journey. Each recommendation you gave. Each midwife who trusted me to assist. Each family member who helped me achieve this year.

30 is the most births I’ve attended yet. And likely the most I’ll ever attend. I’m excited for alllll the upcoming births in 2022!
