I’m Mary, a Southeast Michigan birth doula supporting families through hospital births, inductions, epidurals, VBACs, unmedicated births, and everything in between.
I especially love working with second- and third-time moms who want this birth to feel more supported, calm, and intentional.
Maybe your first birth was difficult. Maybe it went fine, but you know what you’d like to do differently this time. Or maybe you simply want someone experienced in the room who can help you and your partner feel grounded as labor unfolds.
My role is not to tell you how to give birth.
It’s to support your birth.
That can look like helping with comfort measures and positioning, talking through options, helping your partner know what to do, supporting you through an epidural or induction, or simply being a steady presence when things feel intense.
I also support VBAC families and clients who are planning epidurals. You do not need to be planning an unmedicated birth to benefit from a doula.
