Hello!
i wanted to give a quick update on my doula practice.
recently I have become certified from Stillbirthday.
I am now a birth and bereavement doula.
as a bereavement doula I am trained in helping families walk the road of infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, and fatal diagnoses.
this training was very uncomfortable and made me come face to face with a lot of emotions. While nothing can fully prepare is for these situations I am as prepared as a can be to walk alongside families during these unthinkable time.
I also have attended a spinning babies workshop and have a WEALTH of knowledge that I have already gotten to use at births!!
i love birth and I am so excited to get to know more of the mechanics behind labor and birth.
lastly - I am now certified in Neonatal Resuscitation and CPR.
i will be continuing to add to my skills and knowledge and become the best doula and birth assistant I can be!
